There are environments where ordinary concrete is exposed to aggressive agents that can decompose its mass. From the sulfates of the subsoil and the groundwater, until the industrial waste and the chemical cleaners, the need for absolute tightness and chemical inertness is imperative.

Special concretes of this category ensure:

  • Absolute Watertightness: Through crystalline additives that seal every pore, preventing the penetration of dangerous liquids.
  • Chemical Resistance: Special compositions (e.g. with sulfate-resistant cement) that do not react with chemical compounds, preventing internal swelling and disintegration.
  • Foundation & Infrastructure Protection: Ideal solution for building foundations on heavy soils, wastewater treatment tanks and industrial floors.

The result: Maximum protection of the structural integrity of your project against any type of chemical corrosion, ensuring its longevity under any conditions.

Exhibition Categories:

    • C30/37 XD1: It is mainly applied in road works and car parks in areas with low temperatures, as it protects the reinforcement from corrosion caused by anti-freeze salts (chlorides). The high strength of C30/37 and the low permeability of the XD1 class ensure that chemicals carried by the road network or the air will not penetrate the concrete to destroy the steel.
    • C35/45 XD2: It is applied to projects that have permanent contact with chlorides (such as liquid de-icing salts or industrial chemicals), but not with sea water. It is used in industrial floors, chemical tanks and bridge areas where salt water permanently accumulates. The very high strength of C35/45 ensures extremely low permeability, which is necessary to withstand the continuous penetration of chlorides and protect the reinforcement from corrosion.
    • C35/45 XD3: It is applied in high-demand infrastructure projects, such as bridge decks, multi-storey garage ramps and industrial floors, which are exposed to alternating humidity and continuous action of de-icing salts. The very high strength of C35/45 ensures extremely low permeability, which is necessary to prevent the rapid penetration of chlorides into the reinforcement in conditions where the concrete is constantly wetted and dried.
